We keep this in mind, but we have considered that it was better to make a really usable version before releases on each platforms.

Amazing work! Can you be contacted with feedback and/or bugs?
Thank you !
For feedback and/or bugs, we have google groups:
– ButtleOFX-dev. This is the right place to ask development questions, features, help, contribution, or debate on the goals of the project..
– ButtleOFX-User. This list is oriented toward casual users of the ButtleOFX applications and libraries. It is a good place to start if you are having trouble getting started with the project.
Very cool! Is there a Win 7 version? Can it handle audio?
Unfortunately, the Windows release has been pushed back.
We have considered that it was better to make a really usable version, before make releases on each platforms.
For the audio feature, a new version of an io plugin, called “AudioVideo”, is developed at Mikros Image. The new version, still based on FFmpeg, will enable you to add audio tracks when you write your output file.
The development is quite advanced as you can see on github.
when are going have a version for OSx available ?
Unfortunately, the OS X release has been pushed back.

The project did not progress a lot this summer, but you will hear about ButtleOFX very soon, thanks to a new team of students which will start on october 2014.
Thanks for your feedback, it shows us that there is an interest for a mac release.
too bad glibc 2.14 is req? no buttle on centos 6
Seems like libc on our systems is too old:
./run_buttleofx.sh
./py3.3_env/bin/python: /lib64/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.14′ not found (required by ./py3.3_env/lib/libpython3.3m.so.1.0)
cat /proc/version
Linux version 2.6.32-358.18.1.el6.x86_64 (mockbuild@c6b10.bsys.dev.centos.org)
Distributor ID: CentOS
Description: CentOS release 6.4 (Final)
Release: 6.4
Codename: Final
Could you include the libc you use in your tarball ?
